Alan Schiess
Mr. Schiess is the newest associate at Babcock Scott & Babcock, P.C., where he practices construction law and contributes to the firm’s representation of developers, engineers, architects, general contractors, subcontractors, material suppliers, and owners.
Mr. Schiess brings a practical understanding of the construction industry to his legal practice. Before attending college, he worked for a general contractor, gaining hands-on experience with the day-to-day operations of construction projects. While earning his Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering from Brigham Young University–Idaho, he ran a small handyman and fence repair business, further deepening his appreciation for the challenges faced by contractors and property owners. His combined background in engineering, entrepreneurship, and legal scholarship allows him to approach construction law with a unique and practical perspective.
